Reign of The Jaguar - Documentary
REIGN OF THE JAGUAR is a film about the Maya’s culture, ceremonies, rituals and events, seen through their eyes today. It's not a story with a typical beginning, middle and end. Filmed on location in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula in the Mayan’s language, with English narration, the film also deals with the Mayan viewpoint on the year 2012, and the coming together of the Maya and Aztec. All music is original Mayan music with instruments type dating back 2000 years, using no artificial electronic musical sound.

MWR Guantanamo Bay, Cuba 4th of July Celebration
K1 supported the Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba with music talent for their 2009 4th of July celebration. The event performance was produced for the hundreds of troops on base, as well as the refugees from countries such as Haiti, Jamaica, and the Philippines. An amazing scene of shooting off fireworks was also put on for all to see, in the backyard of Fidel Castro.

CHANGE IS NOW with Stevie Wonder: “All About The Love Again”
Hidden Beach Recording’s “Change Is Now: Renewing America’s Promise” project included the new inspirational song by legendary Stevie Wonder titled “All About The Love Again”. K1 provided marketing services for the single’s creative animation music video, where the video was added to programmed outlets like AOL, Windows Media and Yahoo!, nationwide cable channels like LATV and JBTV, Sony Bravia’s On-Demand Video channel and in Macy's & JC Penney stores nationwide.

Leeza Gibbon’s Oscar Night After Party
K1 provided event production services for Leeza Gibbon’s 2009 Oscar Night after party at the iconic Mr. Chow restaurant. Reaching the goal of locating sponsorships for backline music equipment, stage, sound and lighting, K1 brought Gibson and Delicate Sound & Lighting to the table. A special performance by MusiK1 distributed U.K. band Two Spot Gobi was also booked for the evening, where they shared the stage with David Foster, Michael Buble and Olivia Newton-John.

Barack Obama’s official “Yes We Can: Voices of a Grassroots Movement” music project, released by Hidden Beach Recordings, brought K1 on board to market, promote and handle radio PR initiatives for Lionel Richie. With Lionel’s “Eternity” song as the focus track for the record and overall campaign, K1 booked the Lionel on various national syndicated radio shows as in ABC Radio’s Fame Games Show, Leeza Gibbons’ Hollywood Confidential, The Billy Bush Show and The Keith Sweat Hotel.

“What’s Your Lifestyle” fye CD Sampler
Tran World Entertainment worked with K1 to initiate a CD sampler program that was distributed among f.y.e. stores and customers. K1 managed the approval of participating record labels, as in Atlantic-Lava, Maverick, Thump, Virgin and VP Records. Customers who received a CD gained a redemption coupon for all the featured artists redeemable at all f.y.e. retail location nationwide.
